All that remains now is to super glue the palm rest, the thumb wires cover, and the keycaps.
This is pretty straight forward, just apply the super glue to the full border of the palm rest holder, then press the palm rest firmly down for 60 seconds.
This part is optional, just for aesthetic purposes. It covers the wire channel running to the Home button. It is so small it only takes about 5 minutes to 3D print.
We'll be printing the keycaps that are custom molded to the different types of keys.
Note that if you have access to a 3D resin printer, that would produce the best results. Using a regular FDM 3D printer for these intricate parts can leave something to be desired; and for that reason you'll probably need to super glue the keycap to the key (just a dab of super glue gel should be enough).
Super gluing the keycaps does raise concerns about future maintenance of the device, but if anyone has better ideas please let me know! You could also maybe use 3rd party purchased keycaps if small enough.
Layout with keycap names
This can happen sometimes if you try them out without super gluing. Just print replacements if it happens.
⚠️ Some folks in the Discord have modified the shape of the keycaps to make them stronger and potentially not require glue.
Final result! You're done! The next section covers software configuration and future topics.
